Cheerleader. He needs to be taught a lesson.

Not playing football is a good start. Good luck to your son's brain.

My kid will play QB or he will not play at all.

Teach the big lanky thing to pitch. The kid is gonna get wrecked in football.

My oldest plays RT and DE. He is a sophomore.

The studs on high school teams play fullback and linebacker.

No shite. His first cousin got drafted top 20 out of high school with a mean fastball. He’ll probably try it in high school.

Son played for a bit but I pushed him to swimming; I like the elite fitness he achieves, the fact that he will be safe despite our extensive water activities, and the athletes and parents are great.

My hypothetical kid would probably play QB, WR, or maybe safety
Too tall and lanky (and slow) for anything else

What position in football would you like your kid to play? by Gaston
What age group are we talking?

I obviously have no say in the matter, but I’m thinking corner back?
If he is small and cant tackle bigger kids, youre putting him in position to fail.
We always put our studs at LB/Corner

7th grade. It’s his introduction to the sport.

Hows his build compared to other kids his age? Is he tall and lanky, stocky, short??

Mine is only interested in playing QB.

Bingo
DB, LB and RB will always be more hazardous.
Dline does have a higher impact though compared to oline

He’s the tallest, fastest kid. Fairly used to contact playing center mid on the best soccer team in the state, but he’s never put on pads so we’ll see. He was held back in kindergarten.

Id say Middle Backer then.
He can see over the line to diagnose plays and has the speed to run em down

None. I don't want my kid to get brain damage.

Is that what happened to you?
