The one in which he’s least likely to get hurt?

I obviously have no say in the matter, but I’m thinking corner back?

Monday is the day....this’ll be interesting.

I'd like him to play baseball only but he's dying to play football once he gets to HS and you have to let them enjoy those years. In his 1 year of jr high football he played rb and safety.

Kicker/Punter. Potential long career with less threat of serious injury.

He’ll be a kicker for sure, made a 50 yarder in front of the coach as a 6th grader, but they don’t kick in 7th grade. He may get kickoff duties for the 8th grade team, but even they don’t place kick.

Thinking he’ll be WR, but it all depends on if he plays up due to low numbers of 7th graders.

Linebacker, for sure.

So much better to deliver the pain.

Just looking for confirmation to justify that you raised a kicker?

That’s cool, both sides. Playing corner and WR would be good for development.

He wants to be the QB. He’s never planning to simply kick.

There’s no focus on kicking at all, looks like they barely made extra points last year.

I don’t think those 6s are two field goals.

Other than kicker punter or long snapper, it seems like Offensive line is less prone to hard concussion type contact. There is contact on every play but rarely the heavy full speed head contact running backs, linebackers and skill positions see.

Mine is going into 7th grade this year and just finished a six week summer strength/conditioning/skills program.

He put on 6 lbs of muscle.

He is trying for the QB1 spot, it's between him and one other kid.

I have mixed feelings - It's exciting but scary. he's already been hurt several times in 5th/6th grade. Numerous ER visits but nothing serious yet.

He loves it and says he was born to do it.

Worried about ankles and knees, he’s really looking forward to track.
