WHAT! That's great!

I swear some of you people are starting to double and triple lap me

Is this the young one you were talking about a while back? I feel like I remember you somewhat recently saying you were messing around with a young one and would see where it went because you liked her.

No more jaded fr33.. good times. I'll drink to that!

To keep the thread on topic, there is a really interesting notion where if you're drinking an expensive drink or you're a craft beer enthusiast or something like that.. a lot fewer people think "alcoholic".

But if you're drinking the same exact amount as the people above, but its Keystone Light, you're definitely an alcoholic to most.

I have my ways of knowing. Little birds like to chirp.

Also just obtained the full set of Game of Thrones scotch. I think I like to collect more than drink sometimes, and some are an investment.

I’ve got a bottle of Balvenie Tun 1401 that was $300 when it came out.
Want it say it’s worth ~$600 now. Gathering dust in a special place. So I can justify some of my purchases. Then I have people that buy my infusions because they like them so much. I’ve got gallons and gallons infusing right now.

Want to get into making my own mead.

I really don’t think that is true at all. If someone drinks Keystone Light all the time, I more think trashy and college freshmen/sophomore. The most hardcore alcoholics aren’t going for that watered down bitch drink. No they want something that is going to get them drunk. A thirty pack of watered down beer is too time consuming for a true alcoholic.

Nope...I had a lot of fun...got my wild oats sown. This one is my Little Susie homemaker. Cleans house, can cook, laundry done. Loves the dynamic.

I never go without...no frustration.

My slippers get brought to me, she fetches a drink if I want it. Very 50s traditional feel and I love it.

bullshite. My buddy’s dad drinks a 30 rack plus of Busch light every day. I would definitely consider him an alcoholic

Well, yeah, but it’s not their go-to.

It just seems very time consuming compared to say a higher alcohol beer, wine, or any random liquor.

Just because they’re an alcoholic doesn’t mean they don’t have a preference.

This was more my point. Don't focus so much on the Keystone part.. I was just saying whatever came to mind.

My point was that those with a deep wine interest or craft beer nerd or fancy bourbon collector don't seem to get the side eye that those who will drink whatever gets the job done get.. even if they're drinking the same amount/just as often.

Drink enough of anything and it’ll get you lit. Time really isn’t the issue.

I’m willing to bet most people ruining their and their friend’s/family’s lives with alcohol drink some more stiff shite than Keystone, or at least do some shots in addition to the Keystone. I just allign Keystone and Natty with trashiness and cheapness, not being an alcoholic.

See, I’ve dealt with alcoholics and learned to hate that breed, where they are hiding the bottle of takka and proceed to go from sober to shitty in an hour.

I’m not drinking to get fricked up. I’m drinking to enjoy. To try a new concoction I’ve made, or a new bottle of scotch.

Now EVERY so often, usually around the anniversary of my brothers death, i’ll Hole up and drink heavily. With my own misery. Or i’ll Go to his grave with a 12 pack and just sit on the stone and talk and weep and grieve.

But then i’ll Sober up and make my peace and get on with it. It’s a lot easier not to fall into a hole when you are happy.

I try not to use drinking to drown my sorrows like I used to when I was unhappy in my relationship.

Much nicer to be able to share that glow with others, to toast to good times.

Drunken revelry is much more life fulfilling than drinking in depression,
