It’s not going to take much longer. Maybe a year or three, but it’s inevitable. If you have to literally be threatened with being fired for you to not entertain going to work buzzed, that’s a serious issue. I’ve never thought about having a drink before or during work, and I’m concerned I have a bit of a problem.

Well, maybe not an alcoholic but sounds like a drinking problem, which could easily lead to alcoholism.

Don't dance with the devil too much. I've done a lot of hard things in my life, but kicking addiction successfully is herculean. It totally changes who you are as a person

You need to drink some milk. Or water. Definitely not alcohol. If your family is complaining about it and you don’t remember posting some of your bullshite drivel on here it sounds to me like you have a problem

If you’re doing this at 25, that’s a really, really bad sign.

Jesus fricking Christ. Nothing to do with me drinking or nothing but it is so fricking frustrating explaining this to people. THE CONDUCTOR DOES NOT DRIVE THE TRAIN. The engineer does that. The conductor oversees the operation of the train, he gets on the ground when cars are set out, picked up, inspects a potential bad order, communicates with dispatch, and so on.

Ive kinda gotten into Zen Buddhism but don't really meditate, regularly anyway. I suck at doing anything 100%, except hiking, etc.

I walk along the coast every day thoughand it serves that function for me. Nature has been a great healer for me. Big into photography too
