I don't give a shite what people are using their SNAP benefits to purchase. Micro-managing poor people's spending isn't what is going to save this country. And that spending damn sure isn't the cause of any significant problem that we currently face.

Internal emails showing them strategizing on how to deal with the fallout, billions poured into their robotics, testing it out at an existing facility, and you think they won't retrofit at scale? You take them at their word?
I thought you were smarter than that, honestly.

An internal email at the most congested bureaucratic organization I’ve ever encountered. Will they retrofit, maybe? Or they may leave those facilities as is because changing anything there takes moving a mountain.
One thing I’m certain of though, you’ve got no fricking clue and are just talking out of your arse

Benefits, including SNAP, account for 7% of our $7 trillion budget. It's not insignificant.

Robot rev up: Amazon boosts warehouse tech to speed deliveries

“What we’ve seen recently is the next tranche of robotics initiatives have started hitting production” in such locations as the company’s new fulfillment center in Shreveport, Louisiana, Jassy told investors Thursday. “We’re very encouraged by what we see there.
He added that "it’s still relatively early days, but we now have plans to start expanding to a number of other facilities in the network, some of which will be [at] new facilities and others which will be retrofitted.”
Jassy said the company “is not close to the end of what we think is possible to use robotics to improve cost to serve and safety in our fulfillment.”
Dumbass

Could you expand on your thought process here? How is it a two-way street when the primary beneficiaries are corporations and the SNAP recipients, but those paying the taxes are left out?
When I said it was a two way street, I meant corporations, not taxpayers.
I suppose you could claim that corporate and agricultural welfare trickles down to the middle class in the form of lower prices, more jobs, more stability, etc. It's also been argued that a cheap, steady food supply prevents crime and other social ills. Rising tides, floating ships and so on.
I'm just playing Devil's advocate here; don't shoot the messenger.

people also sell their food stamps then buy cigarettes and booze with the money
This is very common, and this is why we need to require a check at the point of sale - validating the photo ID and the name on the card. Because right now a shite load of kids probably go hungry because mom wanted to boost their Louisiana Purchase card for $0.50 cash on the dollar.
These grocery stores check ID's for liquor. They can do it for SNAP too.

Door dash! We have quite a few dudes using EBT to buy up ribs and chicken to BBQ and sell every weekend. All I know is they have full carts and I have a few items.

Americans in general eat like shite
This is generally true but is heavily weighted towards income, geography and education.
The poorer and more rural you are the fatter you see the population.
There are also some racial elements but by and large it’s poverty -> weight.

My case and point about the larger issue being how Americans eat in general.
The majority of Americans do not eat just ruminant meat. They are consuming tons of other garbage with their meat, and people just want to point fingers at meat being the culprit like a bunch of retards.
If you believe that fruits and vegetables are actually necessary in order to be healthy, you've been deceived. For a lot of people, they are actually poison. This is evidenced via massive inflammation and systemic/autoimmune conditions which are completely resolved by consuming only ruminant meat.

Personal insults. Classic Mingo strategy when he loses and is made to look a fool, which happens more times than not.

We had a very similar topic about a week ago. The study was from 2016, but as clearly stated on page 1 of the report, the data is from 2011.
quote:
POS transaction data from January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011 from a leading grocery retailer were examined for this study.

Sure, I think deer season runs from about now until January. May have to check your local regulations.
If you're lucky enough to live in an area with moose, elk or caribou you have more options.

I just wasn't exactly sure what a ruminant is. We just have deer around here.

Calling you a moron isn’t an insult, it’s the truth.
You cherry pick shite you don’t even understand to try to incorrectly make a point, and then when you clearly see your wrong slightly change the subject to deflect

One time at Walmart wife and I were behind this young white girl with two filthy mixed kids in her cart, She had a loaf of bread and a jar of that pre mixed peanut butter and jelly. Two nappy headed heifers in front of her with their buggies mounded over. They both got rang up and headed to the door leaving her at the register to deal with the bill. They over spent and she didn't have enough left on her card to get the two items in her cart. Felt sorry for the kids so we ended up paying for those two items...Wife let the Manager have it and they just said there was nothin they could do about it..

I mean, it frustrates everyone, but I'm not sure what you think a lowly store manager can do about what people buy within the allowances of a government-run program. Nor why you'd "let him have it" for such things.
