Late 60s and early 70s Johnny Cash. Cash traveled to a nation in the soviet Union and was a sold out crowd of 50,000.

Why you so mad bro? Every single post in this thread by you is so condescending. You must be an insufferable dipshit in real life.

Your shite was just dumb as shite. If you say something dumb as shite, you are going to get made fun of on tigerdroppings. Sorry baw
Seriously. Your main reasoning for Wallen was he sold out a 20k arena in NYC. Digest that man. Let it marinate. And then apologize to me for making fun of you for it.

I’ve been to a George Strait concern as well as a Garth Brooks concert. The former was one of the least entertaining things I’ve ever watched, and the latter was easily a top 3 live event.

I saw both them within a month of one another back in the early 90s. Garth is a hell of an entertainer. I think we spent most of the Strait concert talking about food concessions.

I did not want to scroll all 10 pages but this artist would sell it out.
One night only - full frontal nudity.

Could be wrong but think McCartney is better suited for smaller arenas with more expensive tickets. I think the kind of people interested in seeing a former Beatle may not be as numerous as a Brooks or Chesney but probably have thicker wallets.
I think even Garth is better suited for smaller arenas, but he won't raise prices so he does multiple shows. McCartney and Elton John and others won't do that.
I saw Garth twice on the last arena tour and then saw him in Neyland on the current stadium tour. The arena shows were definitely better entertainment.

2002 RATM
1997 RATM Evil Empire might get 100k. Rage is probably one of my favorite.
What about 1997 show with RATM with Sublime opening up?

I am, once again, shilling for Taylor Swift in this thread.
I think she could do it for a few different reasons, if the conditions are right. It'd have to be a tour that didn't have a stop in N La or Houston to draw those crowds too. They'd have to commit to selling the uppers, which they didn't do in 2015. Pop music is objectively more popular than country, but she has the benefit of being a mix of both since she's redoing all her old songs. And the fact that her fan base includes young kids, meaning an adult chaperone will be present for a lot of groups that get tickets.
Add in those to the fact that she has sold over 100k in multiple venues, not a retirement tour like George, and I think she's one of the only ones who can do it.

I just thought of someone not sure if he has been mentioned. Bruno Mars. I'd go see him rain sleet or snow. When he performs in Vegas his shows sell out within minutes.

What about Morgan Wallen? Maybe not 100k, but I bet he could get about 75k.

I am not saying he would, I am just asking if he could do it.
In December he performed in Rupp Arena 3 nights in a row. He sold 36k tickets in 90 mins.
So yeah I doubt he would sell out Tiger Stadium. At most I say he sells 50k.

There’s a lot of hate but there’s also a lot of people acting like he’s the shite.
In regards to this question, he is popular but there are far more popular performers/musicians than him out there that could also easily pack a giant stadium. People are just disagreeing because they don’t like their music

Billy Joel is playing Notre Dame’s stadium in a couple weeks and that’s been sold out for more than a year. Add the extra 40,000 capacity of Tiger Stadium and it would still be a sellout.
But Garth Brooks in Tiger Stadium is a special combination.
