Confession: Your YouTube videos of the estate sales were more fun than expected, even though I haven’t seen one in a while.

I have one on my GoPro that I need to edit and upload.

$500 profit for 90 days and probably a heavy amount of work isn’t a serious money generating activity. Not sure why you made a post to act like it is

You are not comprehending well. He has $500 in the times, which sold for $3300. He made in excess of $2500 off of his hobby. Do your hobbies bring in $2500 or do you spend $2500 on them every three months?

Divorce is expensive though and I hate to say it but it’s coming. There’s not a sane woman around who would be okay with other peoples garbage constantly flowing through their home. My wife would rather give me $2500 every 3 months than come home with this stuff.

I get it. Everyone has their niche, something they enjoy, makes them feel good maybe nostalgia from their childhood like hot wheels. The movie posters are cool, military stuff is always cool. A vintage mixer or fan might add a look to a room that person is trying to achieve, But what the hell does someone want with a fricking vintage hardhat?

Did the old rock and roll posters come from a sale in Prairieville, south of Bon Lieu? I had a friend that lived down there that toured with almost all of those bands in the 1984- 1993 range.

He was originally from Baker, but had lived down there. He got a divorce, moved to Nashville, and passed a few years back. His ex wife still lives off of Hornsby.

I knew some old hard hats are collectibles (don’t ask me why). I found that one at a garage sale for 50¢. I risked it.
Some of those hard hats bring big money. The ones from the same company as the one I sold, but made of fiberglass, bring 100’s of dollars.

No, they came from an estate sale in Plaquemine. All the posters except the “Hair” poster, were all rolled up together, I paid $10 for the entire roll. I didn’t even look to see what was in the roll other than seeing one Iron Maiden poster.
I paid $10 for the “Hair” poster.

Cool. the guy I knew had an incredible amount of memorabilia. Tour jackets, Gold and platinum records, signed photos, etc. He also had a ton of signed sports memorabilia.

I’d argue that women would be more okay with it than a man.

Of course, my husband’s hobby is taking things to the dump.

You’re welcome to check my stock trading record on the money board. It’s a far more lucrative hobby
