What makes so many women become attention whores?

For example, I know this girl who is constantly posting selfies on IG and other sites - and most of these pictures are in revealing clothes.
Do attention whores suffer from low self-esteem or some other, maybe deeper issues?
And speaking of issues, why do so many women suffer from trust issues?

This is a question I pondered for years. Now that I have a daughter, it intrigues me.
From what I can gather, the one consistency that holds true for nearly every female I know that craves male attention, is that they all have daddy issues. Most of the girls I know that are like this either didn't have fathers, didn't have good relationships with the father's they had or didn't get the attention from their fathers that they wanted.
If you want your daughters to not grow up to be whores or attention whores make sure you give them lots of attention or they're going to spend the rest of their life seeking male approval from less-than-stellar examples of men.

just curious, how old is your daughter?
mine is in her teen years. i have raised her and have a great relationship with her.......however, this age, girls just do stupid shite sometimes. not always.....but its an awkward age for girls.......and boys hormones at this age are out of control..........so girls tend to 'be silly' or seek attention from the alpha running around. you just have to be aware and on top of things.......and they're still going to pull the wool over your head at times. its life. i look at me at that age and thank god my son isn't remotely close to how i was.....and thank god my daughter and i have an open communication\relationship....but she's still a teen that does seek attention at times.
