What makes people jerks when they're drunk

Water is wet. So, what kind of drunk are you? I've never been rude or wanted to fight. I'm a calm, sedated drunk. I have in-laws that seem to want to fight every time they drink, though.

I'm actually one month clean from the booze and I suggest it to everybody. I just think so much better and am happier all the time

If you read the whole article, this is basically what it suggests. Thus, the "water is wet" comment in the OP. This little genetic anomaly only affects 2% of the population.

I'm not sure there is any scientific proof, but I think it depends on what I drink. I at least know there are times when I am happy drunk and sometimes when I think I am a badass and pretend not to take shite from anyone (even though its completely against my personality.)

A long time ago I bought this guy I knew a t-shirt that said "Instant a-hole, Just Add Alcohol".....he never understood the real meaning of it

Yeah, I've been thinking about this because I usually embarrass myself once every three or four years at the office party, which is tonight. For me, wine or beer = laid back, funny drunk. Liquor = a-hole that says every bad thought I have about people.

I feel like I'm happier, in a better mood, and overall more fun to be around when I'm drunk. That's what made me become an alcoholic. I've been sober for a while now, feel better mentally and emotionally, have more energy, but am very anti social. Wish I could find that happy medium.
