Best roads in America and the safest cities in the world. The school systems are one of the best in the country and the unemployment rate is top 3 best in the country.

There was a report that came out that the housing market is booming there because thousands are trying to move there everyday because the pay rate for jobs in LA is one of The highest in America.

The weather is wonderful as well. I currently live in a very beautiful place but I am dying to get out of here and move to somewhere in Louisiana

Most of the residents in LA live their life with little or no regard for who is doin’ what in New Orleans.

Yeah, but people living outside New Orleans dwell in cabins without phones or running water. I've seen Swamp People.

The people and the culture are amazing.

Don’t listen to the complainers. I’ve been everywhere. Literally, traveled to every state and nearly every top 100 city. Louisiana is my favorite. Not too crowed, not too expensive, friendly and welcoming. It’s a place where you lay roots and feel a connection to everything around you.

I grew up in Louisiana. Going back there now makes me glad I live in Mississippi, and that's a shame. Used to love my home state. Only thing left there for me is family and my beloved Tigers.

BR has a huge IBM expansion
umm. IBM didn't push to increase their footprint in BR.....because of SWB and JBE and there push to tax.

Same reason Exxons multi billion dollar expansion in BR was canceled and the plan was moved to port Arthur.

They would hate nothing more than for good things to happen in New Orleans.

Look at the hate on the new airport terminal. As soon as New Orleans did something to make the city look better everyone outside the city shite all over it.

What if I told you that the new airport is not only not in New Orleans but not even in the same Parish as the city of New Orleans?

Except for relatively small matters like food and fishing, there is nothing great about Louisiana.

The airport is owned by Orleans Parish. Crazy, I know.

Louisiana is not great, so the simple answer to your OP is nothing.
