Why is it in the creases of his hands? Figured it be in the blood vessels.

Drop D. Carr or D. Maye?

I feel ya, mine is too smart for her own good.
I got my Goldendoodle from them. She’s 10 years old, no health problems, very good with kids and very calm. I would recommend them but they aren’t cheap. Only one problem, she thinks she’s a lap dog. Will not leave my side. Hahaha. I was very impressed with their facilities as well. Hope this helps.
I have had a little luck with the green light hunting hogs, but we kept spooking them with the green lights. I would look into the Sightmark Wraith Night Vision. The one I got was about $300 off of Amazon. Did pretty well with it, too. Might have to get a different IR light then the one it comes with, but I never had a problem. I have since moved onto thermal, AGM Rattler, which has worked well for me. I got the cheapest one at $1,000. Killed a hog with it last night at about 125 yards. Hope some of this helps.

I have Goldendoodle from Huntington Farms. She’s a great family dog, 10 years old and only goes to vet for shots once a year. No problems with her at all. But, that may be due to her being mixed?

Hog hunting, tired of them eating all the corn. Hate these bastards. Hadn’t seen a thing.
AGM Rattler TS19-256 Thermal Imaging RifleScope 12um 256x192

That’s the Thermal I have. We shoot around 120 yards and I have no problem seeing the hogs. $999.99 on Amazon. They also have some ATN Thors around $1000 as well. The Sightmark minis are $799.97. I’d spend the extra couple hundred for the Thermal.
I have the Sightmark Wraith, not the mini, and have killed a lot of pigs with it. I wound up buying a thermal, cheapest one at the time $1000, and like it more. The only problem with the Wraith for us is that the pigs would see the IR light and get spooked. Everyone else I have spoken to that has the same setup does not have that problem. So I’m not sure why the pigs would see our IR lights and not others. Exact setup on each gun. That’s why I made the switch, no more spooking the hogs!
Someone said mosquitos had a job, other than a good food source, what are they good for?

Our current setup has us shooting about 125yds. I have a PSA 300 B/O. For some reason I never had much success with it. But again, I've only used FMJ ammo with it. Maybe I should try out different ammo with it as well. I might be over thinking this whole process but I can't stop thinking about it. Hahaha

Yeah, I have sighted it in with the suppressor. I guess I need to double check when I put .223's down range. Dumb statement, but I need to re-sight it in when changing rounds.

I'll see if I can find some Fusion, shot those out of my .270 and like them. I also forgot to mention that I am running a suppressor on this setup as well.

I would say my grouping is within the size of your hand from about 100 yds out

I have a Diamondback DB-15 with a 16 inch barrel and 1:8 twist. I guess I need to fire a few rounds and see how the .223's run.

They seem to be working ok, other than I missed a damn hog Sunday. I just can't get a consistent grouping on the target (good enough for my liking). I'd rather shoot the 5.56 rounds but all I can find are the green tips or FMJ. I have been using Frontier ammo. Just trying to see if the .223 is more accurate or I just need to shoot different ammo. Thanks for the reply!

.223 vs 5.56 Hog Hunting

I have recently purchased a thermal scope for hog hunting at night. I have been using Night Vision/IR Light but the thermal is much better. I always felt like the hogs could see the IR light when I put it on them. So, I have that problem solved.

I have been using 5.56 FMJ 55grain while hunting these bastards. I have been wondering if the .223 is way to go. .223 is the only hunting round I can find (American Whitetail). Are .223's more accurate? Just trying to gain some more knowledge on them. Anyone know of a good 5.56 hunting round or should I switch to .223. I seem to be going back and forth in my research. Seeing what you all's opinion is. Thanks for the help!
That blows man! This was my first one and feel lucky I got it so soon. I always heard a year at least. I’ve also heard you could re-file with the new system and maybe you could get it sooner. Worth looking into.
