Time to focus on IT and cheaper than Palo Alto living. I’m optimistic about the future of this state and what New Orleans can do to make this state better.

The mentality of this board represents a lot of the state resident's mentality.

They would hate nothing more than for good things to happen in New Orleans.

Look at the hate on the new airport terminal. As soon as New Orleans did something to make the city look better everyone outside the city shite all over it.

If one can’t say that New Orleans is the pulse of the state then they’re delusional. Everyone has a great time here.

The food, thankfully it can be exported.

Deep sea fishing, this cannot.

Most of the residents in LA live their life with little or no regard for who is doin’ what in New Orleans.

Sadly you’re correct for most of the state but not all.

Monroe has century link

BR has a huge IBM expansion

Nola has Accruent and tons of other start ups

Time to focus on other out the box ideas and admit we can’t compete with Texas in the O&g game. Look at Lafayette for instance.

LSU
Saints
Food
Culture
Outdoors

That’s about it. The culcha is ruining a lot of these and man made things are ruining our environment and the outdoors in this state
