What characteristics do you see in a house to make it cross the threshold into mansion territory?

It's like pornography. I can't define it, but I know it when I see it.

As if anybody with a trailer is paying someone to install a porch.

Sounds like a pretty big house

But when the ratio gets 2:1 or more with at least 5 bedrooms then it's probably a mansion

5 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms for instance
