What kind of world do we live in when you can’t ride a 4 wheeler down the street

Jesus Christ. Kids can’t even have fun. Had cops in driveway while son was washing and cops roll up. They were cool just said they got complaints. Stock bike by the way not a noise maker. Sad thing is whole neighborhood has bikes so it could be any kid. He said they gonna have extra patrols because of complaints.

A world where ATV’s aren’t supposed to be driven on a public roadway meant for actual vehicles, dumbass.

The absolute best part of any “nice” neighborhood in Monroe is that no one complains when a SxS or 4wheeler is driven in the neighborhood. I can’t count how many in Frenchman’s Bend go up and down. Never a complaint.

I mean this depends so much on where someone lives. Surely you don't want people driving four wheelers down Burbank. But yes out where a lot of cars don't drive it's fine, but it still makes me uncomfortable if they are kids just because they don't know the rules of the road like someone who has been driving does

If your precious little innocent child causes an accident or hits a kid while driving it on a road, get ready to be fricked in the arse with the lawsuit and don’t come here bitching like a little entitled twat when your insurance company denies it (if you even have a policy on the ATV) due to it being used in an illegal manner.

Because your little “angel” is probably driving wide open through the neighborhood as soon as he gets away from the house.

That is fine if they would monitor it evenly. I see hoodrats on 4 wheelers riding through city streets and the cops do nothing.

Every one of them is a noisemaker.

Just because you don't have a loud arse aftermarket pipe on it doesn't mean it's quiet.

Half the side by sides around here are annoyingly loud and people use them as daily drivers.

When I was 13 or 14, my buddy Jeffy and I were riding side by side down Main Street of our hometown on a pair of Cushman Eagles. His was new and mine was a bucket of rust with maypop tires and no tail lights.

The city marshal stepped out and flagged us down and accused us of cutting donuts in Mrs. Harper's front yard. It wasn't us, and we knew who it was, but we didn't rat him out. He had no witnesses so we rolled on with a stiff warning.

That was 6 decades ago, so kids with wheels have been and always will be a source of agitation for the long arm of the law.

You will get whoever it was back when your kids are shooting fireworks at 11 pm 4 days after July 4th on a Wednesday night.

You got this.

I guess what bothers me is he wasn’t caught riding. Just hosing off. But the cops will watch these fools in NO do donuts and I’m in the country
