Freemont is the Bourbon Street of Las Vegas. I think they might have started to aggressively enforce some things people were doing.. But you could find anything from people dressed up as certain characters (which are on the strip as well) to women who charge to have you take pictures with them with their boobs hanging out.

Am I wrong?

I'm laughing at you picking a thread about street artists in the quarter to take your moral stand and question everyone about why they are judging others. I know nothing about Freemont street in Vegas and I'm not sure why you are explaining it to me

His rambling makes no sense. Venice Beach is the French Quarter of Cali. Freemont is the Bourbon of Vegas. Etc.

Not sure what any of those have to do with the topic and yes I have been to all of them.

Man, don't hate on the street performers. Those guys add charm to the FQ.

No hate. I just think the statues are the 2nd worst of the performers. It's just my opinion.

Miller, nicknamed "Uncle Louie," had become a fixture in the world of street performers when he was arrested in a 1974 Florida cold case.

I wonder if he would break character if you whispered the name of the man he murdered in his ear

Explain the I know where you got them shoes bit... don't think I've seen that one yet

They bet you that they know where you got your shoes. If you take the bet they say "you got them on your feet". A way to con a few dollars from gullible tourists. I was approached 2 times at the championship game on 1/9/12.

Had one approach me recently when I was taking some out of towners to Cafe Du Monde.

I just said "I live here, leave me alone."

Totally agree, last time we were there had one of these guys come up, I told him I knew the gag and he moved on. My son asked me about it afterwards I told him and his reply was "oh I get it" LOL!

Also the "cocaine try it before you buy it" guys. They always want you to pay after you try it.

Answering scruffy about video poker. I think the top payout is $1500 but it's been a while.
