Stout, Good Friend,
While I agree regarding the silver and gold painted guys, the girl who is painted bronze and hands out flowers is quite artistic and graceful. Watching her is poetic and almost like going to the ballet. It’s, might one day, her calling to bring that grace into the world.
I’m hoping you, NIH, Rummey and I can meet down in Jackson Square and do a best of painted performers series. And then perhaps services at the Cathedral and brunch? Does this weekend work for you? I have to go to the Hermès lunch and march Friday, but Saturday and Sunday work with me.
Your Friend,
