What are you feeding that dog to make it so large?

Our male GSP is about 55 pounds and I can’t keep weight on him. He has free reign of our property and is constantly going. Sometimes I think I need to just keep him inside and feed him pizzas for a month

Nope. My entire life I've had bad experiences with dogs. Been growled at, snarled at, chased, chased down and knocked off my bike and then bitten, got the scars to prove it. Dogs don't like me and the feeling is mutual. Pussycats, on the other hand, adore me.

No joke, he was essentially the runt. He was small and lanky, and we had trouble keeping weight on him and finally he began to fill out as we steadily increased his food. We never thought he would fill out, but he did. He had a huge growth spurt in the last 8 months. He gets 3 cups in the morning, and 3 cups in the evening, of Purina Pro Plan Sport.

Had what was probably the most beautiful Australian Shepherd but she died 2 weeks ago unfortunately.
Blue Merle with a pure white collar.
Great, loyal dog and scary intelligent

Sorry for your loss. My buddy was 100 bucks because he was black tri and nobody wanted him. First family actually returned him to breeders after a week. Got papers but I just had to agree not to breed him. They are so smart. He is just a toy though. 20 lbs. I have never been a round a dog with softer fur. Do have to trim around his butthole or he gets the occasion clinger turd

Almost 4 years old

2 whippets and one golden retriever. The golden is the best dog ever.

What’s amazing is I feed them all the same exact amount of food every day and the whippets weigh 40 pounds and the golden weighs 115. I can’t get him to lose weight.

Both parents are massive.
He is the sweetest yet most fearless puppy I have ever seen.
