A Sears red and white “dirt” bike that I got in 1st grade. I tried to be like the big kids and jump it. It didn’t end well.

Had a early 80's Redline II. Chrome with 3 piece cranks.

Loved that thing. Looked like this with no number plate and with red mags.

Mongoose then Redline-Proline circa 1978-1980.

Same here except 82-84. Every dime I made working at Cortana mall went into building those bikes. I think I still have scars from the shimano dx pedals.

This one:

Pop picked me up for his weekend and we went to the park and put it together at a picnic table. I road it all over Herman park.

A few years later, he broke it all down and took the frame and bars to the body shop he worked at and painted it with a high metallic black. It looked so badass (IMO) with new metallic yellow pads, yellow grips and those yellow mags. A year later, I got a 10speed and gave it to my little brother.

1982 Schwinn Scrambler. Put on ACS 48 spoke Z-rims with freewheel about 1989. Upgraded cranks/sprocket as well as goose neck and handle bars. It was a heavy frame, but indestructible. Still have & ride that bike today.
