I give them no credibility and have lost a very good friendship over the issue as I stopped inviting said friends kids to Birthday parties, etc.

In reality, they are as dumb as a box of rocks.

Dumb isn't the right word. Anti-vaxxers don't fit the stereotype of ignorant/uneducated people believing in superstitions or whatever. This is more of a cult-like delusion among more educated/affluent folk. It's more of a hippy anti-gluten/anti-GMO thing.

So has there been a parent go public yet with a kid that wasn't vaccinated but does have autism? Wouldn't that debunk the whole thing?

There are actually some studies that have been done that have found strong correlations between eye attention/association/focus in infants (pre-vaccines) and later ASD diagnosis. Which suggests there could be a cause before a child even receives their first vaccine.

The issue you have is the reluctance to label a child so young as potentially ASD, but also because a lot of the developmental issues that are associated with a DSM diagnosis of ASD are behaviors that occur after the typical age a child would receive vaccines.

Just had some dad go apeshit (understandably) locally abouthis pediatricians office. His newborn was there for his 2 week checkup. One of these clowns has their kid in there with the measles.

The newborn is not vaccinated yet as it’s too early. So this kid and all of the other patients in there within that time got a letter about their kid being exposed.

It began as a big pharm is evil type movement. And I get some of it hepatitis, rotavirus, HPV. Even then, why not get them? But measles? Polio? Diphtheria ? Smallpox? You don’t want your child to NEED a pediatric infectious disease doc and have experience abroad. Lol

Its ironic because many if not most of the anti-vaxxers I have seen are more likely than not the same people who try to sell you bullshite on facebook. Vaccines are bad but here is some lavender raccoon shite that cures cancer because science.

Based on the downvotes, we have some anti-vaxxers on this board. Step up and defend your position.

The God fearing state of Mississippi doesn't allow religious/philosophical exemptions for vaccinations.

What's wrong with the rest of the country, especially the godless west coast states?

They should be cast off like lepers were, so them and their unvaccinated kids can't kill anyone else with their stupidity.

I know it's not the kids' faults their parents are idiots, but I wouldn't want my kid catching measles b/c of some dumb arse parent.

I have also noticed the anti-vax movement has a strong Facebook presence. They will argue to the death about it.

Anti vaxxers are some of the worst people on the planet imo.

They are a threat to public safety. The measles outbreak in Washington state....blame that all on those crazy motherfrickers.

If kids die of measles in that outbreak...,it’s all the fault of those crazy people. frick them.

I would wish measles on them....but those selfish idiots were all vaccinated as kids so they will be protected. It’s their poor kids that will suffer.

They should be put in prison. Where they’ll be vaccinated.

Measles is insanely contagious. You can be in the same room as someone that was there hours before you and catch it if not vaccinated. 90% of unvaccinated people exposed to measles will catch it. One of the most contagious diseases out there.

There's going to be a time when I'll have to ask another kids parents to "see their papers" for proof of vaxxing.

I will end a friendship if I find out that person doesn’t vaccinate their kids.

Will cut all family ties if it was a family member.

Do you give any credibility to any of the anti-vax arguments?

absolutely not.

There isn't one single piece of scientific evidence that shows vaccines are bad for you and piles of evidence showing they're good. Anti-vaxxers need to all go live together so they can kill each other off quickly and stop endangering others.

But they won’t die....cause they were all vaccinated as kids.

Their kids will die off though.
