Was at a bar in North Beach, getting along really well with a girl.. Last call comes and she says, "hey, i got us an uber, lets go."

ALRIGHT BABY IM IN!

we make out a bit on the drive over. Uber pulls up to her spot.. feeling great aboout my chances here. she gets out first and i slide over to get out on her side...she turns around and says, "o, yeah, no you arent coming in. I just wanted you to ride with me so i didnt get raped by a sketchy driver"

slams the door in my face and walks off.

Uber drive laughed his arse off at me. Gave me a ride home though for free because he felt so bad.

fricking crushed me.

Had a chick ghost me once. Took her to dinner then to a concert at the Varsity. Middle of the show she disappears and told me she had to leave for some BS reason. That was more of a shot to the gut than any rejection I received.

Have you ever been rejected by a girl that made you look stupid? Doesn't matter what age, in school or after school. Let's hear 'em

8th grade. I was a big dork and terrified of girls. Went to McKinley Middle while all my neighborhood friends were at Kenilworth so I got bullied pretty good too.

This really pretty girl finds out I like her, somehow. I didn't tell her to her face. Well this a-hole in some of my classes also liked her. He gets ahold of my yearbook without me noticing(during a band class everyone signing each others) and he wrote really long mean message about kicking my arse if I ever talk to her and blah blah.
Everyone saw it and laughed. I haven't recovered.

If someone reminds me, I'll post a picture of it.

Fat Tuesday back around 2002. Was staying at the Monteleone and a smoking hot girl knocked on our door but had the wrong room. I started shooting the shite with her and walked down the hall to the elevator as she was leaving and she said "eww go back to your room."

Same. This stupidity lead to an embarrassing moment with a girl I grew up with. She was a little hottie who usually had a boyfriend, so I never pursued anything with her before.

Eventually learned from her roommate that she had been secretly into me for a long time, so I finally confronted her about it one day in her bedroom during a party, thinking she would come running into my arms. Instead she started crying, told me I blew my opportunity, and ordered me out of her apartment, so I had to make an awkward exit out of the party.

She ended up getting married a couple of years ago. My family got invited to the wedding, but I didn't.

In the past 3-4 years I’ve probably swiped right over 5,000 times on tinder. I have less than 10 matches. That’s not good

Wasn't being turned down but I'll share my story

I was about 34 and this young 23 year old girl that I'm friends with was having a few cocktails with me (not a date) and she goes on to tell me that I'm a really nice guy and I'd be perfect...for her mom

The false hope ended really fast on that note

Got friendzoned so hard one time she literally gave me a card that said, " It's great being your friend" or something.

I've got some greatest hits, but they weren't all classics.

I got cock blocked by freaking Colt Ford the fat AF country rapper in Monroe. I was dancing and making moves on a trashy hottie. Colt Ford came in after one of his concerts and she forgot about me. I remember walking out of the bar and seeing him lifting his gut up so she could grind on him.

He was a lot fatter than the pic at the time.

in 9th grade a girl I had a massive crush on and wanted to date turned me down when I asked her to go with me to homecoming. I was devastated and embarrassed. We stayed friends and when I was 23 we met up in Ireland and went out; ended up making out. She admitted she had a massive crush on me too back then but was too nervous to say yes / go with me. That rejection destroyed my (already minimal) confidence for the next 8 years, and it was all a lie.

Not completely true. There's a very small chance that you might make contact when ducking to get out of the way of a high and inside pitch.

Junior in college. Called the girl at her dorm to ask her out. Really liked her, she was a "good" girl so I planned something easy to break the ice and not F it up, lunch date. I knew her well enough that I thought I would get an easy yes. I got a quick mortified no. 100% stunned.
When she hung up, she told all the girls in the room who had called, what I wanted and how she was repulsed at my advances. I know this because my future wife was in the room.

Same. Two fingers deep and she had both hands on me going to town. Move over to consummate the act and she says she doesn’t want to ruin the friendship. Well, she ruined the “friendship”.
