My mom was seriously anti-Walmart opening in her small town in the late 90s and said she'd never shop there.
Walmart Supercenter is now in it's third different location (with 2 dilapidated eyesores left abandoned) there after 30 years and has run about every other decent supermarket etc for 20 miles out of business.
No matter how inconvenient, my mom has never been.

UPS
My dad got a job with them delivering in the mid-1970s. Started working for them in mid-October.
At this time, seasonal workers was not nearly the thing it is these days.
You can guess how this ended. My dad was never notified that he was hired as a temp worker. When he finished his deliveries on Christmas Eve, they brought him in and let him go.
Those clowns will never see a dime of my money.

Just read the entire thread. Very enjoyable.
Many are legit reasons. Some seem "snowflaky". I do have preferences. But I do not think I have ever boycotted anything.

AT&T due to shitty customer service when I had U-verse. I spit on every one of their precious boxes before shipping them back to them.
Also Colombia House. That CD club took advantage of young, naive me.

Been there with an excellent high score for years. Don’t need BOA to “help” in any way shape or form.

Of course no one will be giving money to Quizno's again.
Just ate at one a month or two ago in the Denver airport. And there's one in Raceland, or at least there was last time I passed.

Any company that makes a hot dog. Have had one since the first grade, 48 years ago. Threw up in the lunchroom. Barring a mushroom cloud or two in the background I’ll never eat one again

Taco Casa - They opened one in Auburn and I tried it. Did not make it home before I started vomiting. Couldn't even stand to smell Mexican food for a couple of years. Many years later, we were traveling and the one in Vicksburg was the only place open. No vomiting, but that was the worst Mexican I have ever had. Threw most of my order away.

Blockbuster & RCA
Quite happy that both went by the wayside because of their horrific customer service.

Was just thinking about this today. Autozone employee was a real twat when I pointed out he was trying to sell me the wrong size part.
I wouldn’t boycott over an employee being a twat. That would only hurt me and autozone would never know the difference. Maybe if they stole my kids milkshake money or accused me of stealing or something. But not for a twat long haired half a hippie crybaby employee.
Corporate decisions are worthy of a boycott.

AT&T
I was grandfathered in on unlimited internet and they talked my wife into switching plans while i was gone to work. I canceled all our service and went to Straight Talk, saved a $100 a month.
Chase Bank
Stupid teller put a hold on my account when I brought in an insurance check for roof damage. Not only did it screw my auto payments up it took over a month to get my check cleared to pay the roofer.
Regions Bank
I totaled my truck that had one more payment left. I brought them the insurance check to pay off my loan and I was going to use the rest to buy a new truck. They held the check until cleared and charged me a late fee on my truck payment. Took several weeks to get my money so I could buy a truck.
Hormel
If you don't know do some research.

And Toshiba, for selling US Navy secrets to the Russians in the 80s. Never bought a single VCR or hard drive from them.
When I was in during the late 80’s, Navy Exchange stopped carrying Toshiba items because no one would buy them. Everyone knew about the sub secrets thing.
