I've been in outside sales since I graduated high school. In media to be specific. It's a brutal industry and turnover is astronomical. I'm damn good at it and have always been so persuasive that my family says I could sell ice to an Eskimo and my managers have always told me I was so blessed to be a natural seller bc others have to work so hard at it. My mawmaw always said I'd have been a formidable trial atty.
ETA... My sense of direction is freaky. I always know where I'm at and can be dropped off anyplace and tell you North, south, east, west. It's pretty crazy.

I know how to bring people together by finding common grounds. For example, on the board, if two people don't agree with each other on almost everything, they can at least agree that I am a shitty poster...
But seriously, if you put me in a group of different types of people, I can make everyone come together to the point where everyone will continue to be friends.
Also, I can read people really well. It's something I learned over the years and noticing different ways people react to "someone in a wheelchair". Watching someone interact with others then how they might interact with me tells me a lot about someone, but give me 1 minute with someone and I can tell you a lot about them. Like anything else, I am not right 100% of the time, but using the information gained right away (how a person dresses, how they present themselves, body language, etc) and how they answer questions or talk about something I could give you a pretty accurate report of who that person is.
Not sure if this is a strength or just stupid, but I don't let anyone take advantage of me. And if I feel like they were trying to or I let my guard down and they did, I am going to get them back. It might not be that moment, but it will stay with me until I do something and that helps me advice others if they feel like they are getting fricked over.

I can look down my nose at people who are obviously better than me.
It's a gift.

Just recently someone told me I have the ability to tell people to go to hell and have them thank me for it.

That's impressive. Not many people can tell people where they can go and still gain their respect..

I used to be this way, never got sick. Now I have CLL and my immune system is hurting, I keep a cold

My immune system. I’m 40 and have called in sick less than 10 days in my career probably less than 20 if you go back to grade school. I’m very grateful for this
