I love bass and sacalait fishing. Hard to find the time these days, but we still get out there every now and then. I enjoyed fly fishing in Colorado.

Call me crazy, but I collect used band aids. Not only mine, but family members and strangers as well.

I especially like the part where Skillet collects strangers' band-aids.

Bass Fishing (don't get out as much as i'd like)
Recently took up smoking meats (ha ha meat smoker) started with a Traeger and recently acquired a reverse flow offset smoker. Something about tending a fire and slow cooking meat is relaxing to me.
Cycling to a lesser extent this past year. I need to get back to it. 2019-2020 I was averaging 200 miles per week.

Making noise with a Telecaster and a Vox AC15 HW. I have much better gear than talent.

Photography. I recently completed my collection of Nikon F series film cameras. Nikon F, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6. I found the F6 at a great bargain price. All are usable. I also have a Leica M3 and M6. Again, much better gear than my talent.

Walking.

Reading fiction, gardening and meditating.

I wish I would have learned about meditating when I was a kid. I make my students start every day with a quick meditation. It’s such a useful skill.

Sailing.

Nothing clears my head better than getting out on the water, raising the sail, shutting off the motor, letting the power of the wind silently pull me along, while I look out at the thin line that is the horizon dividing sea from sky...
