Anyone have any comments on the BBQ festival that is in Hammond this weekend? I can't go this year but it's on my radar for next year if it seems like it's worth a damn.

I'm biased to my own little hometown's festival.
Gheens Bon Mange' Festival.
It's not the biggest or even close, we don't have thousands of people showing up, don't have the big name expensive band or the greatest rides.
The foods home cooked and delicious and the community and company is great

Looking forward to a new poboy festival in Lafayette this year. Will be downtown on April 2nd and should have all the local poboy restaurants represented. I still the think Acadiana has the best poboys with NOLA a close second...
