Yup. Toyota and Subaru make a light, ~2800lbs (500lbs heavier than the Miata but it’s 228hp while the Miata is 181hp), naturally aspirated boxer 4 cylinder with a manual and rear wheel drive…but it has an, albeit pretty damn good, electronically assisted steering rack. Is the Miata hydraulic still?
