The good news is that the tractors that harvest these plants en masse are solar-powered.

I think this bothers me more than soy milk.

Probably because it’s a soy patty.

According to Impossible Foods' website, the five main ingredients of an Impossible Burger 2.0 are:

-Water
-Soy-protein concentrate
-Coconut oil
-Sunflower oil
-Natural flavors. (? Pretty vague)

Because so many people in this country still ignorantly believe the lie that saturated fat is bad for you and red meat in general is bad for you.

All plants are partially meat based since they eat dead things in the soil

It is a new market. Vegan and climate change zealots spend money and want choices and I would imagine the Taco Bell Bean Burrito gets old fast.

Truth of the matter is - follow the money.
Al Gore is a huge investor in this meatless meat bullshite.
As we learn with each passing day, the politically connected have the juice, the influence, and the relationships to push their agenda.

The agenda is Socialism.

Get used to being told what to do, where to live, what you can drive, what you can eat, and how much you can keep of the money you earn. Pay attention.

The Al Gore information is FACT. He is either a majority investor or majority owner of the fake meat company. I read that he is also pushing to get the government to purchase it to be served to the military, and for it to be provided to public schools through government contracts.

Why get triggered by what other people eat? I tried the Impossible Burger at Burger King,I thought it was pretty good but I doubt it is much healthier than beef. The problem for me is the feedlot process of producing beef is disgusting.Feed those cattle dried pig blood, some feedlots mix chicken litter(shite) with the corn.Loaded up on antibiotics and hormones,no thank you.Only burgers I eat are venison, fixed at home.
Grass fed beef is decidedly healthier but more expensive to produce since it takes longer to get cattle to market weight.
Don’t worry about what other people eat.Keep eating burgers and steaks, cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons all over America appreciate the business.

Without knowing the nutritional value (I'm sure none like every other fast food product), if it gets kids to eat vegetables, then go for it. Several friends have kids that flat refuse to eat vegetables. Their parenting abilities aside, this could be an easier way to get your kids to consume some sort of vegetable.

It's not for me. I eat plenty of vegetables without having to mask the vegetable. And I personally don't see the appeal in fast food for the most part. Chicken nuggets made from stuff that probably isn't even chicken? Burger meat bought from the lowest cost provider? No thanks.

The two main ingredients in the “plant meat” are water and soy. Neither is a vegetable.

Doesn't that fake meat have a ridiculous amount of saturated fat? I thought I read that somewhere.
