After just seeing a Duluth Trading Co commercial about how great their jeans are, it got me thinking about when I worked construction.
When I worked construction twenty years ago, I tried different jeans and discovered Wranglers (for the price) were the best jeans ever made for real work. The worst pair was some Walmart brand (maybe Glory jeans). They actually less than one day before splitting.
Levi’s were very good as well, but they are twice the cost of Wranglers.

Do you mean for work, regular church or for weddings and funerals and stuff?

Patagonia performance straight fit are my favorite jeans I own. Have or have had a few pairs in both blue and grey.

Patagonia
Currently marked down, I would be grabbing another pair if my size was in stock.

I’m talking heavy duty work, construction, and whatnot.

Carharrt double front.

Bought a pair in 2009 in Skagway, AK at the Mountain shop for $30 clearance, and they're still taking the trails today.

That’s not true. They have different thread count, just like sheets.
