I'll be visiting there sometime this month. Any good local eateries?

Short trip from Leeds to the Irondale Cafe.

They are building a Bucky's over there, but not sure how far along it is.

The Wing Cafe

Wings, and I would also ask if the onion rings are made on site.

Grand River Outlets/Drive-In
Bass Pro
Rails & Ales (food trucks, live music and local brews)
Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum & Race Track
Rusty’s BBQ

also you’re 15-20 minute drive from downtown Birmingham with tons more to do and Trussville which now has Ferus Brewery/entertainment area which is really nice and laid back and has good food.

Yeah, Rusty’s BBQ is probably my favorite bbq in the Bham area. Great desserts as well.

Motorcycles aren’t my thing, but the Barber museum is pretty awesome.

You'll be in metro Birmingham. Check out the listings on Birmingham Restaurant Week, which starts today.

Good info here. Rails and Ales is one of our favorite beer venues. Tons of great beers on draft and a cool beer garden with a laidback vibe.

I’m not a fan of Rusty’s BBQ, but the desserts there are great. His wife makes them and is a classically trained pastry chef.

The museum at Barbers is a world class facility. People come from all over the world to go there.

Leeds is 15 mins from 280, Trussville, and downtown Bham. Underrated area of Bham.

If you eat somewhere that brings the food and drinks to your table, do this.

1) Find the net price of the food and drink served.
2) Multiply that amount by .15.
3) Add the amount computed in step 2 to the amount of the total of the bill that includes taxes.
4) Before you leave, pay the amount in step 3 to your server.

We are counting on you to break the cycle.

ETA: And it’s bad form to assault the hostess prior to being seated - or after, if you were wondering.
