Staph infection that got into my bursa sac and became septic and necrotizing smack dab on the point of my elbow. I only thought that was real pain!! Then I found out that wasn't shite compared to the orthopedic surgeon sticking this big arse needle into the crevices of my elbow to extract puss so they could determine what kind of staph they were up against...twice!! I nearly lost consciousness at the end from the extreme pain...literally went into some sort of hallucinogenic trance only seeing waves of colors with complete loss of where I was, who I was and what the hell was going on. When you're just lying around in a hospital bed and experience something like that with no help from adrenaline...fuhgetaboutit!!

Bladder scope: It wasnt the worst pain I've ever had, but it was certainly more than a "little discomfort" as I was told. I was about to bend the stirrups of that chair.

I've had broken bones, sprained ankles by twisting them inside (much worse than outside), strained a knee and needed a cortisone shot from it, etc. None of that held a candle to getting pleurisy. I'm asthmatic already, and that felt like getting jabbed in the lungs with an ice pick for about three days every time I took a breath. That sucked royally. The asthma made me cough. That was the really fun part.

This was probably runner up.

Woke up from hernia surgery not knowing where I was and tried to sit up. Big mistake.

Had to get stitches years later in the bottom of my foot when I cut it open. Both were extremely painful. It’s hard to rank which was worse but they were both very bad.

Either having my first rib removed or dry socket. Probably the rib though.

When was this stuff invented? If more than 10 years ago I'm gonna be pissed because they didn't tell me anything about it when I had mine. They just gave me a bunch of morphine and I told them it didn't do shite, so then they gave me a bunch of dilaudid and when I told them that didn't do shite either they just fricking let me lay there for an hour before sending me on my way before I passed the stone. Went home and vomited a couple times before passing it that night.

Toradol was fda approved over 20 years ago. Good thing about Toradol is the E.R. Doctor is much more likely to hit you with a shot of the Toradol early on because it is not an opiate based drug. So you are not sitting their in agony waiting for them to determine what is going on.

Almost got my pinky toe ripped off doing road construction after being hit by a truck during the summer after my freshman year in college. The numbing shot they gave me to sew it back up was the worst pain I’ve ever felt. Sewing it up without the numbing shot couldn’t have been too much worse.

In-grown toenail. The shots they give, 4 shots on all four corners of the big toe.

I've had 3 kidney stones, 1 gall bladder problem, numerous sprained ankles, tooth ache, but none of them ever compared to the toe shot.

A lot have said headaches. I will be 55 in a few days and have never had a headache. Of any kind. Ever.

So my two are:

1. Having gout in both ankles and both knees at the same time. Have had each knee drained of fluid over 20 times.

2. Kidney stone. My freshman year at Tech, we went to see Journey in Shreveport. Started to really hurt during the concert. By the time we got back to Ruston I wanted someone to shoot me. Finally passed it around daylight. Sweating profusely I limped back to my room just in time to see the Space Shuttle Challenger explode live on TV

I had a prostate infection when I was 19. Not something I've heard many people experience and not sure what causes it, but it started as an intense urge to pee and after a few minutes became a consistent pulsing that felt like someone was stabbing my a-hole with a searing hot knife.

I didn't ejaculate for a few weeks (Pretty tough for a 19 year old), and when I finally did, my semen was green and had the consistency of snot. That moment about gave me a heart attack

I wouldn't advise performing surgery on yourself. You're not a real doctor but you are a real worm.

I guess my ER doc had never heard of it because he did leave me in agony the whole time, and the hospital thought their 2 hours of shite service was worth $6k.

I took an arrow next to my left eye when I was 12.

I'm pretty damn lucky to be alive.

I’ve had numerous somewhat painful injuries, broken arms, dislocated kneecap. Only thing that really ever brought tears from pain was getting my thumb crushed between a baseball bat and a fastball.
