I’m looking for a 91-93 500E. I’ve missed two in the last 4 months. It’s a W124 and it moves.
The S series are their best sedans.

You can pick up a used corporate lease with hardly any miles on it for 2/3's the price.
Unless you have to have new, S600 Maybach, (Pullman if you have the cash) is the only way to go. Or if you want to flaunt your money, even more, G63 AMG.
ETA: If you are really trying that hard to impress and can drop $200k on a car, then $300k shouldn't be an issue either. Get a Rolls Ghost or Bentley Musalanne. They are built much better than the MB's. A guy that owns a restaurant on Magazine has a new Maybach and when he drives down the street you can hear some rattles.
INB4 nola streets

What is the top of the line series for a Mercedes
S-Class is the real Mercedes
E-Class is the budget Mercedes.
C Class is the Mercedes for people who can't afford a Mercedes.
The Mercedes GLA looks cheap because it actually is.

The Pullman Guard is really for ballers who have drivers, like the Maybach 63 of old but even more limo-like with face to face seating.
Posted on 3/6/18 at 4:53 pm to DeafVallyBatnR
Well if you have to ask...You can't afford it..

The old 63's were awesome. I lived in Houston for a stint while Dwight Howard played for the Rockets. He lived in my building and had a Blue/Beige color scheme on a 53S. He is so tall that the headrest was about 5 inches into the rear driver side door window.
Haven't seen the new Pullman but I imagine some Fortune CEO/Execs in NYC are chauffered in some.

The 500E are on fire right now. One with 20k miles sold for $80k on ebay. I like the 2.3 16v too.

I'll tell you mine but it's not the S. It's the new CLS platform AMG GT63 S
If I could afford it and looking, this one gives me no reason to look at a Panamera, A7, BMW or anything else in the class right now. It's simply a knock out.

Truly terrible. Had one as a loaner because I thought it would be fun. Interior felt really cheap and the power was great, except it couldn't stay grounded. AWD might have solved that.

Yep, C63 is for poors.
