What do you hunt? What guns do you own and use?

Its worth no more than anyone else’s. I’m not a hunter and don’t love guns. I’m just as qualified to speak on the subject as you are.

Your appeal to authority is worth nothing, for the record.

To shoot for sport and fun. We as Americans are lazy so we need high capacity magazines to avoid the time consuming task of reloading and they must be semi auto because throwing a bolt is hard.

since you are obviously a constitutional scholar, what does 2A address?

Of course. Especially in a conventional situation. But should foreign threat attack citizens of the US, should they not be able to defend themselves?

You mean to tell me it's impossible for government to conspire to take complete control and consolidate power?

3 part government. Checks and balances. 500+ members of Congress.

That’s one hell of a fricking conspiracy you’re cooking up.

And even if all that happens, the US military would then have to turn on the American citizens.

Its the person, not the weapon imo that matters

You’re right, but the crazy people can buy the weapons easily and get it the day of. And that is a problem too.

Want mental health reform to where these people can get the mental help they need? Who is going to pay the specialist to see them then? They won’t do it for free, and insurance won’t cover it for the most part. So you’re going to force insurance to cover it? Then watch all of our premiums skyrocket.

Isn’t the more appropriate question...

Why did the FBI and local authorities ignore so many warning signs that this kid wanted to kill a bunch of people?

This would have still been a tragedy if he only had handguns and shotguns

It wouldn’t be the military. The government would just contract that shite out.

You do realize that pistols are made in much larger calibers and that they can do a lot more harm. My 45 holds 13 rounds plus 1 in the chamber and will do a lot more damage than that 223 round will. Also, one semi automatic gun is the same as the other they go pew when you pull the trigger. Magazine size and recoil is where the differences are.

Yes but that will be ignored so that they can push gun control.

The FBI and other law enforcement are to blame for this tragedy. Many, many opportunities to stop it.

Yea I don't believe you for one second. You were referencing fully automatic weapons being used in these shootings and didn't know the difference between those and semi auto weapons.
