So you're argument is, "so, someone pretty skilled could conceivably kill a lot of people in a school with basic weaponry, so there is really no reason to ban semi-automatic guns".

I hope you realize that most modern pistols are also semi-auto. It’s not a function exclusive to rifles or shotguns.

For what its worth, I'm an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Love guns, just can see the need for semi-automic ones.
If you want to argue a pistol is the same type of semi-automatic weapon as an AR-15 in its ability to inflict death in a mass shooting scenario, I'm not going to be able to engage an argument with you. So I'll bow out with you there.
