I have and wear my grandfather's Letter Sweater from his freshman year of college, 1940. He played lacrosse, basketball and baseball at Lafayette (college in PA.) He enlisted at some point and did not play sports upon his return from the war. Thing is an absolute beast. It's more than 75 years old and has held up better than 99% of the clothing I buy myself.

When I left my house (for the last time) right before Katrina, I grabbed a bunch of clothes from my closet. One of things I grabbed was an old Led Zeppelin t-shirt that I got in the late seventies. I remember riding my bike to Tape City USA (?) on Carrollton.

I need to go look through my dad's clothes. I don't think my mom ever threw them away.

I tend to purge clothing pretty regularly. I do have a trunk of military gear (BDUs, Service Dress, Combat boots, covers, coveralls, Gore Tex, Field Jacket) some of which may be from 1993.

1991 LSU Baseball national champions t-shirt.

It basically was a sleeping gown when I was 5, now it fits but is pretty much see through at this point.

I have a LSU football jersey that is the old style mesh with stripe that goes all the way around the shoulder. Not sure how old it is close to 20 years I think. The oldest is a bomber jacket that I bought in 1990. Can't fit in any of them anymore

Probably a Polo long sleeve plaid button down shirt from 1993. Still wear it occasionally.

Couple of LSU Law shirts circa 2000/2001. Always have to hide those from the wife to keep her from tossing. Also, my dad's football jerseys circa 1964, although those are in permanent storage.

Ralph Lauren Polo shirts last a long time. I do have a Lacoste shirt that is several years old, but it's just like the shirt that Chevy Chase wears in Family Vacation.

High school football issues tee from 84 or so. Lots of Fraternity/Sorority party tees from 85-89.

My Senior year HS football jersey, circa 1996. One night not too long ago I tried it on, and it fits!!

Of course, I wasn't wearing pads this time when I tried it on, so it fitting isn't really a good thing.
