This is a weak comeback, because she only had those for 5 years and I am sure she has things older than that.

I had a quilt made with some of my old shirts from college. 2002-2006.

This actually sounds like a pretty cool idea. I have a bunch of sporting event shirts. Bowl games, game day shirts, actually.. Now that I think of it, I think I might have one older than the one I mentioned.. Well I don't recall throwing it away and I am sure if I look hard enough I will find it.. Possibly shirts that are even older.. But its one from.. maybe the 2000 Sugar Bowl.. Or whenever Florida and Miami played each other in the Sugar Bowl. It was Ed Reed's last year with the Hurricanes.

I think my brother still has his lettermans jacket from 86 or something, but I would think that's something that would be kept forever.

And speaking of concert tshirts. You know.. I have never bought a tshirt at a concert.. Looking back it would be pretty cool to come across some. In 5th grade.. I went see Poison.. That was my first ever concert.. I wish I would have had a shirt from that.

Just remembered I have my grandfather's high school letterman's sweater (Holy Cross). Old school itchy thick material with letter patch sewn on. (circa 1935'ish I would guess)

pair of black dress socks i bought at maison blanche in 1987. they STILL don't have holes in them and i've worn them off and on since then.

i wish to god i knew what they were made of because i routinely buy dress socks that don't make it 6 months.

eta honorable mention goes to a pair of these turntecs

my mom bought them for me in *HIGH SCHOOL* in 1984 and i was still mowing the yard in them until 2 years ago.

My old denim jacket from high school. I got it in or around 1985-86. Next oldest is my tee-shirt from when Pink Floyd came to Legion Field in 1996.

Red flannel shirt-1983. The year I bought it, a HS classmate lit it on fire by holding his lighter too close to me, and flames shot up my arm before I batted it out. Still chugging almost 35 years later.
