Not lousiana or Texas, we march to our own drums. Either South Carolina or Alabama

Mississippi.

GA has AtL with people from all over. Never met a MS baw without an accent.

Plus all their borders are with huge southern states.

I’d take any of the states listed in this thread over New York or California (aka cesspools of the east and west).

Well, I can say people who aren't saying Georgia haven't been to Dublin gas station on a Friday night or some of the backroads I traveled for years. And that's just central and southeast Georgia.

Charleston, definitely, but Myrtle Beach has struck me as more redneck than southern.

Why I don't mention Carolinas. Too much good coast with people coming to the bigger cities from all over.

Trust me, I have. But when the population of ATL beats entire states in the SE, you can't claim it. Plus all the shite was burned to the ground.

I do, and correct.

Also, Texas is not southern.

Idk, parts of Texas seem really southern. Meaning people who equate southerners to a type. East TX def fits more the stereotype than South Louisiana.

My vote goes to the border of Mississippi and Alabama. The literal border.
