Was there recently. Tons of other charter boats out there, but no cell service.

Not that isolated, honestly. I'd probably put I-49 to Shreveport from Alexandria up first.
I'll take the interstate over that creepy forest any day

Man, Basile is right next door to Elton, home of Al Woods, Chad Jones brother.
Rahim Alem is Chad Jones' brother, not Al Woods, and they're from New Orleans
Personal
Jones's older brother, Rahim Alem, is a former defensive end for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Yeah I got the joke you were trying to make, I don't think you get it that that Chad's brother was Al Jones, before he was Rahim Alem, not Al Woods who is an entirely different LSU/NFL football player from around the same time period as the Jones brothers.

There is no place more in the middle of nowhere than Larto, Louisiana. Except for perhaps Acme, Louisiana. You might as well be dropped in the middle of Khazakstan.

Montgomery, LA (yes it's a real area in LA)
It is in the middle of NOWHERE! I had an ex from there and there were more cows than people....a lot of meth too.
Glad I never have to go to that shitty area again.

Actually have 700 people living there. Some of these other places nothing even comes up other than location.

After looking up most of these places today, seems that Pilottown/Port Eads area is the correct answer.

The southern part of the basin is pretty remote. Marsh Island. Some parts of central Louisiana north of Alexandria. Cameron Parish.
OnX Maps has a roadless layer, and there aren't very many bright white areas in the state (the most remote areas on that layer).
I don't think you would find anywhere in Louisiana where there is no one for 100 miles though. You might come close but we just have so many roads, even in North Louisiana you can't go very far without finding someone. Every intersection of 2 or more state highways has a little town or community.

Johnson Bayou in Cameron Parish, almost in Texas, yet home of one of the largest refineries in the world & growing. One road in and one out

If by "close" you mean nobody for 20 miles or so, you may be right.
That's really about as remote as you can get in Louisiana and even that may be sort of pushing it. We have a lot of sparsely populated areas, sure, but there ain't miles and miles of wide open spaces between them.
