Agreed. I’d go awol if they tried to station me at Fort Polk. It’s awful. Wouldn’t wish it upon anyone.

“Iowa, LA” is easily the dumbest pronounciation out of all the ones in the state. It’s like they refuse to go with the norm..

I've been stuck in gumbo on davis island before (technically MS), that was a looong walk out.

Otherwise, some of those duck camps around mer rouge are in the middle of nowhere.
