Probably not much more than 24 hours a few times when I was like 13 or 14 playing video games all night with friends or when I was in my early 20's out drinking all night. I need my sleep. I don't think I could do much more than that even if my only goal was to stay awake for as long as I can.

Same as last time this thread came around. This year's longest was last weekend. 7:30am Friday to 2pm Saturday. Went a little overboard, but ended up having fun and getting my shrimp wet

This one time, and I swear you're not gonna believe this
I woke up ridiculously early like 6:30AM right. After that I had a 12 hour shift, wherein I got almost no time to sit down and not be on my feet. Worked a really hard day, barely had time to grab lunch kind of day. I get home, it's like 8ish at night. So the wife decides we have to go to Target and grab new kitchen scissors and a couple of other things. Get there, and it's already like 8:30 at night mind you, and she takes forever picking out which ones and kept asking me what color I liked, etc. At this point I knew it was going to be a long time before I saw a pillow.
So eventually at around 9ish we get out of Target with what she claims are just the best scissors for the kitchen decor, and a little cookie jar in the shape of a hedgehog. I'm dragging as I turn the car on, and OF COURSE she mentions that she hasn't eaten since lunch and wants to grab something really quick. Head out to get Chinese food, nearing 9:45-10 at night. The guy behind the counter doesn't understand a word of English, but eventually we get our order. She loves these crab rangoons from this place near our house, anyways that's not really important to the story.
But we get home and I'm almost dead tired, and it's just after 10. We eat the chinese food, and the MSG hits me HARD. But I knew I had to stay up because I had so much stuff to do and the day wasn't over yet (little did I know how long this "day" would go on).
So I had to put food in the cats' bowl, refill the dog's water, and take the dog out. I swear she takes like 10 minutes just to find a place to shite. It's freezing cold outside, and I'm dead tired. Anyways, I get back inside and I had already been up for so long I just laid on the bed and passed out. Thankfully my wife put an alarm on for me.
I swear I didn't get into bed until like 10:45. shite was nuts man.

The first semester of my freshman year was devoid of academic interest and sleep.
Took 2 years to catch up on the sleep and a bit longer on the academic stuff.

48 hours. Writing a huge term paper and tried staying up to write it. Was so tired that the words on the chalkboard started dancing.
The thing is, I was so tired I couldn't finish it in time and I had to do a very embarrassing begging to get the deadline extended for a worse grade.

Drove a little under 2900 miles straight in 2010.
I never remember getting tired. I had headphones in with methods of mayhem, petey pablo, and lil John blaring. Average speed including stops for fuel was over 70. Seattle, down the coast, all the eay to el paso, and back to BR.
ETA: 40mg adderall xr, 3 packs of marlboro smooths, a case of diet rockstar, and about a 12 pack of miller chill.
