In my experience, the Northeast is far more racist than where I've lived in the South.

We drove past a compound looking place in very rural Idaho that was covered with Confederate and Gadsden flags

No joke, Ive seen hooligans in Spain and Eastern Europe wave that flag. But that’s cuz they’re racist. Also, the most confederate flags I’ve seen was in Ohio. Seemed like 1/4 of the cars had a rebel sticker

One of my friends sent me a pic of a pickup truck with the flag painted on the tailgate in Naples, Italy. Apparently it’s a southern pride thing there too.

The North-South divide is more pronounced in Italy than it is here in the United States. A Neapolitan, a Calabrese or a Sicilian are not Italians.

This is no BS but In Northeast PA I saw a black dude driving an old pickup with huge confederate flags waving in the back...
