32, first news was something about the no fly zone in Iraq.

First memorable event that I can remember was Y2K.

Desert Storm. My kindergarten teacher made us watch the CNN footage and then had us all write letters to President GHW Bush thanking him for keeping our country safe from Saddam hussein (lol)

Not to the soldiers, to the president.

The Pan am crash in Kenner. I must have been about 12 and was home sick that day

Among others, I remember hearing about Elvis' death and Reagan being shot on the radio (am radio to be exact).

I remember watch one of the Apollo spacecraft liftoff, but don't remember which one (it was at my uncle's house).

I remember hearing about Watergate but not understanding it.

Vividly remember the Iran hostage crisis and the failed rescue attempt.

Election night 1976. Carter elected president. Even in grade school, I knew that was a tragedy.
