The Gulf War because it was the first time a war was broadcast live, bringing it right into people’s living rooms.

That's the one that stands out to me. They rolled TVs into our classes to watch the launch

Bill Clinton came to Cenla during his term. I was a kid but I remember it being a thing.

I vaguely remember seeing the news on the OKC bombing, but Columbine is the first one I remember vividly. That one stuck with me.

Although I do remember seeing JFK live in a parade prior to that. (see above)

And what I specifically remember was the color of his hair. Unlike the dark brown from all the pics it was more auburn colored. That Irish color brown with red highlights. Which was lot more reddish from being enhanced from the side angle of the sun. It was quite striking and still vivid in retrospect. It made him look even larger than life.

I was born early 75. I don't think I have memory of watching it, but I remember my mom crying when Elvis died

I definitely remember watching Mount St. Helen's on the news as well as Lennon's assassination.

Yeah, me too. They just don't make desks like that anymore. I was told that desk could save my life simply by crawling under it and covering my head with my arms................
