Yeah, for the Yankee Oppressor. Shouldn't have wasted all that money on killing shepherds and $90,000 pills for grandma.

A lot of what is offered as “honoring Veterans” is actually virtue signaling. Cheap virtue signaling. An example is the Veteran’s parking spaces at the Lowe’s. First of all, if a veteran is disabled, then he/she should and probably does have a handicap tag. Secondly, if the veteran isn’t handicapped why would they need or want special parking privileges? The whole idea of the veteran/citizen is as a self-sacrificing individual of honor. But wait, you say! It’s still just a way of thanking these vets for their service. Okay, I can support that. However, there’s points 3 and 4. Thirdly, how exactly do we know if a car in those spaces belongs to veteran? The kind of veteran we most like to honor are the humble ones who don’t go around signaling to everyone that they are a veteran. And fourthly, not all veterans are worthy of honor. Some are criminals, some are dead beats, and some are just self-important douchebags. Most are great and deserve honor for their sacrifice/service, but are parking spaces and other such feel-goody signaling really the best way to do that
This country goes way overboard with veteran hero worship. Some of the biggest a-hoes and overall bad people i've ever known are veterans.

Hocking a lougee on toilet paper creates an even better slide and deeper wipe especially in a public bathroom when you don't have access to the good shite (pun).

I’m pretty sure it’s higher than 52 now. Also, like others have said if you consider it’s mostly males age 16-35 its really 4/55.

There is a very easy to see reason the education statistics/median income rankings are always lowest in southern states.
I have a set of maps saved that directly correlates voting patterns with poverty, crime, obesity, suicide, and teenage pregnancy in the South.
Spoiler alert: the red voting areas are not the ones to blame for the South’s low rankings.
