He had stopped at several houses that day including one woman working in her garden . He asked her if she needed help with anything because he saw her house was being remodeled. He was looking for the perfect victim. Why wasn’t he on lockdown at St. Tammany Parish knowing he was a stone cold psychopath cable of anything ? So many questions not answered yet . I know people on here are going to go off on how corrupt St. Tammany is , however , this parish was called St. Slammany for a reason .

You can write a general statement including the date on it that you are writing statement. It can be general like I needed generator and without electricity. We were unable to get gas at times. Whatever you want to describe but doesn’t have to be long. You must print and sign your name. At the top right hand corner put your full name , date , registration number , disaster number , last 4 digits of social . You put copy of receipt. If you have more than one page, you have to label them all with everything above in right hand corner . Mail it certified ( for your own records) to FEMA Individual and household program at PO Box 10055 Hyattville , MD 70782-8055 . My husband already had generator but I know lots of people that bought them so I decided to ask for my Louisiana people that were having trouble uploading documents. Please check the address before you mail because I was writing as fast as I could before we got disconnected. It should be on their website .A lot of people got denied on generator because documents not showing up in system being due to being overloaded. I spent over an hour with an angel with FEMA that actually cared and wanted to help. I know it’s frustrating but keep trying until you get the right person if needed . She apologized on behalf of her fellow employees that have given misinformation. If you get disconnected, they ARE able to call you back .

I hope this helps all of you. I have been on phone with FEMA for several days. I’m in St. Tammany parish and applied early when miscellaneous and critical needs were not an option. I was denied on household damage and have insurance.After being told by 6 different people that were completely inconsistent with what we qualify for I was told by a FEMA supervisor what was going on. If you originally applied and got denied you will get the 500 in the next 2 weeks but maybe a bit longer. The computer automatically corrects itself. It doesn’t matter if you have insurance or not. This is for an parish that is deemed a disaster . Also you may get an additional 1,000 for “renting”. You may see separate deposits for 500 and 1,000 or all together. She stated they are working on 30 different diasters at the moment and there having technical issues with uploads such as generator reimbursement . The best way to get reimbursed for generator is to mail in and she gave me every detail to get approved when mailed in. Faxes and uploads are not working well. Please don’t give up ! I finally found a person that knew what they were doing. I wanted you to all know what I was told. You can’t reapply, you just have to wait for computer to update your parish.
