What is the big deal about having an ex-wife in residence?

Every time I mention that my ex-wife and I are cohabitants, I get comments about "this could be a thread on its own." Why?

We were married a long time. We got divorced (her filing) with the usual divorce brawls. She went to finish her education (one year) and I put my nose to the grindstone at work. Neither one of us saw anyone.

When are oldest son got married, she walked and said "I'm coming home" and she did.

All of her anger was gone (replaced with a fair amount of paranoia) and we've been cruising along. The financial damage of the divorce was substantial (as it often is) and she acknowledges that the divorce was a mistake.

A few friends say I'm going to get stabbed in my sleep. LOL

Well. That’s unusual.

But if it works for both of you, Godspeed. Who am I to judge?

See, this is when you should have said "No, no you're not"

Do yall live in separate rooms? sleep in separate beds?

are yall in a relationship in any fashion?

Is she strictly a roommate?

Does she help you pay the bills at all?

If you were dating it would be a big deal. Since it appears you're back together...its weird but shouldnt be a big deal to outsiders.

Do you guys see other people? If you're just acting married again then I dont see the problem. Maybe get married again? I dont know.

Honestly man, it makes you seem like a total pussy.

She got you financially and she keeps you around? I bet you still do a honey-do list...

I know three couples that were divorce and got back together again. Not one of the arrangements work.
With that said...Good luck...

Just make sure you don’t leave your mistresses dirty panties lying around.

Wait, so are you just living together or are you back to having relations together?
