This isn’t even a real question. Five years ago it was debatable. Now, as long as you’re semi-wealthy and white, you can’t say any city other than Nashville with a straight face.

Small towns have shite schools and high crime. The days of Mayberry are over.

Nope you’re just not looking hard enough. People get car jacked inside 285 way more than outside of it. Crime is and always will be worse in cities vs small towns.

also Paying $25k-$30k a year for private school tuition in buckhead is insane

Charlotte

The only time I have been there it seemed like a ton of culcha there. But of course I was only there for a couple hours during an extremely long layover and left the airport to eat dinner.

New Orleans is the best to visit, but I’d argue Nashville, Knoxville, or Charleston as the best one to live in. I’ve heard good things about Asheville, too.

Without looking at the demographics I'd guess Charlotte to be one of the lesser cultcha'd cities in the south.

You're dreaming. Simply f*cking dreaming.

There's one city in the south that has inspired the works of Tennessee Williams, Truman Capote, William Faulkner. Louis Armstrong, Mahalia Jackson, Anne Rice, Emeril Lagasse, John Kennedy Toole, Sydney Bechet, King Oliver, Wynton and Bradford Marsalis, Louis Prima, Paul Prudhomme, The Neville Brothers, The Dixie Cups, Fats Domino, Dr John, Jelly Roll Martin, Harry Connick Jr., Proffesor Longhair, Buddy Bolden to name a few, and not to mention THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE ONLY DEFINITIVE AMERICAN ART FORM.

Sorry fellas, love or hate it, there is truly only one city in the south that can be called World Class.

By the way, how many Final Fours and Super Bowls has Nashville hosted?

Airport is on the west side, where all the cultcha is. Charlotte has distinct non-cultcha zones. Stay away from the west and eat sides and you're good.

Sorry but no. I appreciate your point of view but Nashville is better than NOLA in nearly every metric

It really doesn’t. At all. Grasping at straws.
