Because I want to look cool and different, like all other baws.

Plus a lift is the only way my 22” black with silver accent and fake bead lock fuels and 37” Nitto Terra Graps will fit.

If you see a jacked up truck, you’re seeing the most valuable thing that guy owns

Because we want it, we can afford it and the gas. My wifes 2022 Cherokee L Summit has one also. My golf cart has a lift as well as my heavy duty gardening pull behind wagon. Hell, if they made a lift for my 2023 Kubota ZTR I'd put one on it. Go frick yourself.....especially on a Saturday! Worried about what other men's truck look like. I have never had anyone say "man you truck is ugly". But then there's people like you obviously! Go let your wife strap on and give you a lift!

Age

I’m 42 and just spent 11 or 12k to lift my truck.

That would have went a long way for my retirement. Instead I got a free pair of white Oakleys.

I can understand a small maybe 2 inch lift,

My TJ has 4.5" to clear 35s with extended bump stops to keep from wrinkling my fenders. Allure was to run 4 and 5 diamond trails and still be able to drive to work or the trailhead. If you've never run a 4 or 5 diamond trail in a Jeep, you probably wouldn't get it.

As far as 4x4 goes, better clearance in woods, water, stumps, etc. It also safer if you’re in a wreck cause you’re higher.
bull, it’s all about the look.

You can get way higher for cheaper than what a lift costs

What’s the allure to a neck tie? What’s the allure to high end vehicles with chrome on the outside? What’s the purpose of double crown molding?

None of the above has any purpose or functionality. But some people like how it looks.

Lifted trucks are ok. But, lifted trucks with that super bright headlights that are not properly aimed should be automatic euthanasia on the roadside.

I don’t have a lift but I added a leveling kit and put 35” on my gladiator. I think it looks better with bigger tires. I think a lot of people also like to feel taller on the road.
