I’d like to see what happens to those man made islands Dubai builds, World and Palm.

Kinda hope they do end up underwater and people 1000 yrs from now think it’s Atlantis.

Not built in the last 20 years but I think the Panama Canal will be the man-made structure that lasts 1000 years.

Cant think of one. To be fair, the vast majority of structures ever built were not built to last.
The pyramids will be around longer than anything modern Western Civilization has built, tbh.

Some built in last couple decades may make it for 100, but doubtful for 500 or more.

Im just happy they demo'd them damn Georgia Guidestones.

Presidential libraries.

That's probably it.

ETA: That new huge dam in Ethiopia (or Kenya) probably.

Every piece of plastic.

Your plastic fork that you used for 10 seconds as a kid will be here essentially forever.

China is building and is continuing to build islands in the South China Sea. If China is still around, so will they.

Fun history fact: you live closer in time to Cleopatra than Cleopatra lived to the building of the Great Pyramids.

Some wellheads or underground/water anchors/foundations? I’m not sure the actual bridges or structures survive in tact.

Airport runways?

Satellites? They may not be operational, but they should survive in tact barring a collision.

La Sagrada Familia.
A church in Spain.
But... in fairness... it's been being built for like 50 years and is scheduled to be done in 2026.

But I think it will last.

Smart phones

Structures? Not many. We don’t build things anymore with the intent of them lasting that long. Look at some of the most massive structures, stadiums. They’re torn down and rebuilt every couple of decades
