What is something built the last 10-20ish years that will be around 100, 500, 1000 years…

From now. I was thinking about old buildings and structures I’ve seen in my life and we build things to last far less frequently it seems.

We are more efficient with resources and know we really don’t need to pay the costs to have a house or an office building last forever. Will we ever see something like the pyramids or or the coliseum again? Will we ever see something far younger but ancient to us like Notre dame again?

The burj Khalifa is probably the closest we may seem to come. But I seriously doubt it has the longevity the pyramids or Notre dame have. Skyscrapers are basically 100 years old. That’s not exactly old itself. So even the oldest of those would have to live another 9 lifetimes to reach how old Notre dame is now.

Any thoughts on other buildings that are modern but will stand the test of time?

If the football team keeps losing, the French may let another terrorist burn the rest of ND down.

that was 100 years ago but definitely something that will be around I’d think. Would be prohibitively expensive to take down.

I'd be surprised if this makes it 40 more years before the libs insist it's destroyed.

Makita 3/4 impact non brushless drivers.

We had one that was hit by a locomotive on the rail and it’s still in circulation.

Craziest thing is the most expensive structures built (Professional stadiums), although costing billions to build, probably won't make it thru 2050 without being torn down and replaced
