We covered that when the Mayors son sent us the FB live videos of Lael threatening him with a gun. I was lucky enough to grab them before ole Lael realized it may have not been the brightest move and took them down.
Of course we did a little digging and found some of his campaign videos and made a little mashup

Not really. These fights were pre planned by an extremely small group of students (2 to 4) who had absolutely nothing to lose on their last day of school.

And people always ask me why a 4th generation Centralite would move from Central to St. Amant. Once it became a city I saw the writing on the wall. I graduated in the mid 2000’s Robert Devall ran a tight ship.

I actually got sad after laughing at it. Made me wonder if school lunches are the only decent meal he gets on any given day. Some of those kids come from some very poor neighborhoods. God dammit.

I think he liked me well enough, but I always found it weird how much he (and other admin) care about the stupidest dress code BS.
My mom went out and got me several button down maroon sweaters specifically for school, and they decided that year to change it to where everyone has to wear a Central hoodie or jacket from their merch store for like $50 or whatever it was.
I guess the poor kids just had to be cold.

Exactly. If that fight was the worse thing that went on there, then they are doing pretty good. When I was in HS, that could happen on any given day.
People are so dramatic. If you read the comments on the post and this thread you could swear it was an all out blood bath.
