What is a gathering for the 50 person limit?

One of the kids is having her first dance team competition this weekend (think travel ball, but for dancing schools). All four of the competitions they were supposed to be in during late March - May were postponed. Three of them have been re-scheduled for July and August, the first one is this upcoming weekend.
It is to take place in Kenner.
Does the 50 person limit apply to an event like this (It's at the Pontchartrain Center). The largest group dance she is in is about 30 kids, so I know that's fine. I'm more wondering about the parents / spectators. You can space out at a place like that, but it tends to get pretty crowded. I would assume we would all have to wear masks, but I just want to be able to see her perform.

Anything that’s not a protest for a progressive cause.

Feel like you should be asking your daughter's dancing school this instead of us

you won't get questions answered if they aren't asked.

Those are awful to sit through. I’d claim COVID and not go. The only part I’m paying attention for is the 10 minutes my little girl is doing something anyway

They are clueless. Already asked them. They said they are awaiting more information from the event sponsor. O-T usually works faster =)

If you take the time to read the order it specifically exempts dance competitions.

Normally, she competes in 5 dances (each one about 3 min long) over a 10-12 hour period. Completely spread out, so you are stuck there all day. They have said that now they are going to do pods, where a couple of dancing schools will do all of their stuff in the same block of time, so you are only there for 2-3 hours and then you go home. Awards will be mailed/shipped.

Just hang a "Justice for George" poster out front and you can do whatever you want.
These Jewish kids had to do that to escape the ire of their Anti-Semite Mayor.

Just give everyone signs and “protest” the dance while attending. After All, it’s your right to protest.

So instead of a Braxxton we have a Kayleigh-Madison?

I'm pretty sure "dancing" is considered an essential business in Louisiana.

50 people = No COVID
51 people = COVID
6' = No Covid
5'11" = COVID
Its science.

Rename the building as a church and all is ok.

For your sake I hope they don't let spectators attend. Those things are brutal.
